Yes! In your Host Dashboard you will now find a feature called "Guest Booking" which allows the Host to manually create a booking on behalf of a camper.

That can be very helpful when the Host receives a booking outside of Acamp, either by directly talking to the camper or through some other booking system.

How to create a Guest Booking

  1. In your Host Dashboard, open the menu and click on Bookings.

  2. Click on the card Guest booking

  3. Add the details of the booking. You can choose the check-in and check-out dates for the booking, as well as which Camping Zone and pitch you want to reserve for the Camper. You can also include other information about the Camper such as name, email, license plate and phone number. Additionally you can flag if the camper will bring a pet and if the camper already paid for the booking.

  4. Click on Reserve pitch and the Guest Booking will be created!

How to edit a Guest Booking

  1. In your Host Dashboard, open the menu and click on Bookings

  2. Find the Guest Booking you want to edit; you can use the Filter on all button to better search for the booking.

  3. Now click the Edit button and you can now change any information about the Guest Booking.

How to cancel a Guest Booking

  1. In your Host Dashboard, open the menu and click on Bookings

  2. Find the Guest Booking you want to edit; you can use the Filter on all button to better search for the booking.

  3. At the bottom of the booking details, click the trash icon to cancel the Guest Booking. This will make the pitch available again to be booked by new campers.

Important things to know about Guest Bookings

  1. Campers are not charged for the booking via Acamp, so make sure you charge the camper in the most convenient way for you and the camper.

  2. Hosts don't pay anything to use the Guest Booking, not even the normal booking fee.

  3. After the Guest Booking is created the selected pitch will be considered unavailable for new bookings for the given period.

  4. You can see all of your Guest Bookings in your Host Dashboard together with your normal bookings. Guest Bookings are indicated with this icon:
